Called Amazon and was told as it has been more than 30 days they have nothing to do with it anymore. I probably just got a dud but wish i got it at sears now as i could take it back and let them work it out for me. A total waste. So now I'll have to deal with hoover. Saving $25 with amazon was not worth it in the end. I did not install it for about 6 weeks after arrival as I was still painting the garage. After I did install it I turned it on for the first time and it made a buzzing sound and starting smoking from the top.
The 30 foot hose is great. I am using this in my shop. Hoover L2310 GUV 10 Amp 5 Gallon Garage Utility Vacuum I had a 10 foot one made at local shop which added to the versatility of this product. It has exceeded all expectations. The only suggestion I would have is disposable filters instead of the cloth one and throwaway bags for the tank.
The capacity is large, I haven't emptied the unit yet, but I did remove the canister with ease. The unit is a little on the pricey side, but the benefit well exceed your expectation. I started using the Hoover L2310(GUV)garage vacuum immediately and it is so user friendly. Attaching this vacuum to the wall was quick and easy, as were the hose hanger. WELL WORTH IT. The attachments that come standard with this unit makes cleaning a breeze. I installed this unit on the corner of my garage and the hose reaches all the way across with more feet to spare.
We would highly reccommend it. He actually looks forward to using it. Nestled in a heavily wooded area, our garage seems to collect every leaf and debris that could possible enter. A quality product for dealing with all types of cleaning - garage floors- car interiors and anything else you might need. That is a great product. After years of failing to find something that could manage this and keep it clean, my husband is over-joyed with this product. No only it is quiet and powerful, it is easy to use and this makes it ideal.
Would be great in a garage for the car, etc. I have this thing hooked up to my mitre saw and it does a great job.
